ISLAMABAD: Accountability court on Thursday increases legal remand of previous president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-Chairman Asif Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur till September 19 in Thatta Water Supply plan case.
Zardari and Talpur were displayed under the steady gaze of the NAB court under tight safety efforts.
As indicated by the responsibility reference, Harish and Company had taken an agreement for water supply from the Special Initiative Department of Sindh yet no work was done on the undertaking. It was additionally asserted that these assets were utilized to meet the costs of Naudero House.
Capture asserted that Harish and Company was the front organization to Park Lane Estate which prompted lost Rs 60 million to the national exchequer.
Asifa Bhutto Zardari, Saleem Mandiviwala, Saeed Ghani, Nafeesa Shah and other gathering pioneers arrived at the NAB court to meet the previous president.
Finally becoming aware of the case, NAB examination official Mohammad Furqan had educated the court that Rs. 39 million checks were issued for Thatta Urban Water Supply plot, which were sent to a phony record at Sindh Bank Gol Market branch in Karachi.
Abdul Ghani Majeed acknowledged those records, examination official said. It was a misappropriation of in general 509.6 million sum, he had said.
