WhatsApp rolled out its ‘Delete For Everyone’ feature two years ago, with a seven-minute restriction for deleting the messages. It progressively accelerated to an hour. To up its privacy game, the facebook-owned social messaging enterprise has started out running on a new disappearing messages feature, in order to permit customers to send messages that self-destruct in a particular time frame, The Verge Reported. WABetaInfo first discovered the function and said it’s in early development. The option might not be available to all users on the beta version. The disappearing messages tool will let you choose messages to delete after either five seconds or an hour. It might also be available in group chats only. The function could be useful for sending sensitive information, which humans don’t need to be permanently available. Gmail had also added a similar function in its redesign. There is no detail on when it’ll be released or what abilities it may have. However, added safety in most popular messaging app is a good thing.
